    Phill Hartsfield custom Push knife

This knife is a gift to me from another admirer of knives. Since he put forth the effort to commission this knife and then wait however long it was just to gift it to me a couple of decades later tells me to hold on to this knife. When the right price or trade comes along I might consider it...

    Phill Hartsfield custom Push knife

I have a Stainless steel salesman that recently discovered my afinity for all things "edged". As it turns out he at one time also had this fascination and bought a number of knives. Since he has been aware of my "hobby", he has been gifting me his knives. The first 2 were an early Protech...

Al Mar Eagle w/ Ivory Micarta scales

My Stainless salesman gifted me another of his older knives. An Al Mar Eagle with Ivory Micarta scales. This is an original production knife as my friend bought over 20+ years ago. I love it when this guy comes by, he always has a cool story, very helpful information and recently some cool knives.

WIP - 1st ever for me

Thanks for the input, I had already decided against the "cups". Really appreciate the heads-up about the grind near the point. This is the type of feedback I want and desperately need at this point. Hey BRad704, I have also decided against bolsters. Brad

WIP - 1st ever for me

Well, when I first logged on to this sight I said I had an access to 1095, well I finally found a 1/8" thick piece worth making something out of. It was blued from the manufacturer and will need some post work re-heat treating but I am pleased so far. I didn't think to take pictures of the...

Close ups of my Paul knives (except for the Protector and Black Defender)

The only Lone Wolf knives I own are of the Paul variety, apparently Benchmade agrees with you as they have the Paul Axial lock line in their 2011 catalog. The Perfectos are a wicked little knife, relatively inexpensive too. You should get one. Brad

New to forum from O.C. California

I haven't done anything with the Smith & Wesson since I bought it, because a day later I bought the ZT0350. I've sold off other knives for re-investment into what you see today, but I can't let that S&W go for some reason. Thanks for the compliments and keep you blades oiled.
