I just finished this Custom Trailing Point(Customer Design)
Steel" 3/16" 154CM@RC61/62 Cryoed
Blade:Length 3 1/2"tip to guard,Flat ground,Mirrow Finish
Overall length:8 1/4"
Guard" 416SS
Handle: Stabelized Spalted Maple,Black Liner<Mosiac Pins and a SS Lanyard sleeve

I"ve been making that sheath design for about 30 years now and it is just catching on.I've made more of them in the past 3 years than in the previous 10 it just goes in cycles

I love the trailing point knife. It sure has nice lines and contoured grips are sweet. I want to know how you make a sheath for it. I quit making that style because the tip cut my welt and stitching.

You certainly make a quality horizontal carry sheath.

I was having the same problem. I made the sheath extra wide at the top and put a bump on the welt that forces the tip forward at first and the you tip it into place.
We will see how long it works.If it dosen't then I will have to come up with something different.
