A customer recently ordered a Sgian Dubh to accompany him at Scottish festivals. Here is what I came up with.
The blade is 180 layer damascus made from 1095 and 15N20.
The handle is African Blackwood with a Buffalo horn and nickel silver spacer, the guard is also nickel silver. The handle is rounded on the left side and the right side butt kicks out a little, as I understand they were originally made that way to assist with drawing it out of your sock.
Comments are welcome.
