Paela and 1095 and African Sumac and 1095

Here are two Knives I just finished. Both have real hard to find wood...Both are 3/32" 1095 Steel. The top Knife has the "Paela" scales (which I love) and the bottom one has the "African Sumac" (A pinkish wood with black stripes, that I really like also)......Both are around 8 3/4" overall length. The handles on both are 4 1/4" long ...Blades are 4 1/2" long to front of scales..
Both Knives have different blade styles.Thanks for looking!!:)

i like the handel on the top knife and did you patina the bottom one i dont think ive seen any sheaths ?
 
Hi Frank, Looking good as always. Your knives look like real workers. I assume that bottom one is a forge finish?

Graveyard....Starting on the sheaths tomorrow.yes, the bottom one is just a patina;)

Doug, it's just a Patina, I put on the Knife. I have never forged a Knife yet.
