O1 fillet knife!

HHH Knives

Super Moderator
This is my latest knife. It was a custom job for a friend. He likes his fillet knives a bit larger then I do. :) I prefer a 6 inch blade for more control..

Specs..
O1 steel. OAL aprox. 14 inches. with a 9 inch blade. flat grind with convex edge.
Stabilized Sycamore lace handles and mosaic pins , Copper jacket with brass core.

This was my first time using O1 and it was a learning experience. Thanks to the Pound, and some needed advice on hardening it and tempering..

God Bless!

THat's a beautiful looking knife! I think that handle came out awesome! I need to add that material to my wishlist, I like how it turned out. Though I have to say, it wouldn't be a gutted fish that disgusted me, it would be using that knife for such a thing!
