No knives yet

I have my knife making area in my shop now and my equipment just about set up, but I keep getting sidetracked by too many requests for other items.

Here is one I just finished for a Native American friend. He thinks he is paying over a $100 bucks for this but he has always been there for me at the Powwows so I am gifting it to him.

The ceremonial pipe has a beaver tooth, deer toe, an arrowhead and a feather for adornment. It's partially covered with leather. The bowl is soapstone carved like a canoe.

This is one of the many things I do with my spare time.

sorry the pics aren't very good.

L R do you go to the loudenville pow wow, i went last year for the first time and will go back next year, it was great

James, I used to go to Loudenville a lot but haven't for a couple years now. It is a competition Powwow and I don't compete anymore...getting too old. I might go this year just to watch. I usually go to inter-tribal powwows around the state.
