Damascus Skinner Set With End Cut Ambrosia Maple

Here is a skinner set I made for a local hunting club. I made a similar blunt nose skinner for an Elk hunter last year who didn't want a sharp point for caping. Both knives are forged from the same 300 layer billet of 1084/1075/15n20. The handles are Amish cut end cut Ambrosia Maple stabilized by WSSI with brass pins. Thanks to all for looking. -Burton

Nice job Burton. I really like the blunt skinner, but all look fantastic. Well done.

I like the knives and you have some nice Ambrosia Maple. Mine come out a little darked than yours.

Thanks Art. I wish I would have bought all of it my buddy had but oh well. I got a piece about 4" x 12" x 96" so it should last me for a while:)
