Cool, how does the lock pin retract? I have been messing with some knife kits button locks and the side across thru bolt is tricky to get just right when you replace the blade. Is this a possible future GLWJ kit?

Man, this is all new to me. These pics are just a frame, spring and blade so I can watch the action and check the spring for now. I'm gonna build 1 and carry it for a while to make sure it's all good. Kit??? Maybe. I still have liner and frame lock kits, balisong lits and several others to do first. cool 1 If I do end up making kits for autos, no clamps will be included!

That's a really sweet looing design Dave. I like autos, but most are set up on a coil spring design which I am really not fond of. After owning (and loosing) my Microtech Lightfoot LCC, I've refused to carry another coil spring auto. I could see me adding one of these to my kit.

I had a MT SOCOM and I hit the button one day and I got a snap , but the blade didnt move... Spring chose that second to break! :(

I dont see that leaf of yours doing that Dave, I think that Craftsman has black spring clamps if you really want to kick it up a tactical notch though....
