Cleavers....

ok. i got an order for a cleaver. somewhere between "kitchen useable" and "war cleaver". i want to make it useable. what width is a good width (from edge to spine) and what thickness? i have never made or even used a cleaver, so i need some help.

should there be any type of angle/cant to the handle?

if i get the rough dims of a useable cleaver, i'll have no problems (aside from having to make it without completely screwing the pooch) and have a good idea on what i WANT to do component wise...

thanks guys!

That cleaver was designed and order by a customer. I was hoping to see it finished. I made it from 1/4" 1095 and it took half a sheet. Never play any games on the tv or computer. I would like to see a pic.
