Chisel Ground blades?

So are Chisel ground blades still popular? I have not seen much of anything posted about them in a while. I know that Emerson is still making them, but has the popularity died down?

I was considering grinding a few but if the demand is not there then why bother?

No idea of the popularity of that style of grind. I make it on most of my kiridashi and on some small fixed blade.
Double hollow grind for small folder. The cutting power could be amazing with a very deep chisel hollow grind :), i don't know really if there are a mode phenomena.

I think Phill Hartsfield still making them and there are demands for them :cool:
IMHO chisel ground blades just needs special designs and that's it cool 1
