Big and stabby

Hi folks,

It is such a rare event that I have made a fixed blade since I am focusing on folders so much these days I thought I would share it with you. I delivered it to the happy recipient over the weekend.

Blade: 1075 carbon steel, 1000 grit hand rubbed finish
Handle: Gidgee with red fibre liners, stainless corby bolts.
Blade length is 8 inches

Thanks for looking

Alistair - You do some very handsome, clean work and this one is just perfect in my eyes.

Please consider doing more fixed blades.

Alistair, that looks great. Any possibility of a pic of the handle - I'm not familiar with Gidgee? Denny

Very nice work sir. I'm sure the new owner is very proud to have it.

There you go I added a close up of the handle. Not the best photo ever though. I am sure a google image search for "Ringed Gidgee" would turn up some nice images. It is a very nice Australian Hardwood.

Very nice knife, Alistair. Personally, after seeing this knife, I think you should make more fixed blades.
