I know i ain't :)

This little one has its 2.7" blade and bolsters from nickel twist damascus, heat colored to a nice warm bronze color, mammoth scales, and the whole frame is made from the titanium colored to some nice matching colors. The screws are heat colored. Thumbstud is colored titanium with mammoth inlay.

Papi,
Your work is outstanding!! I think we are just in a period in time when mammoth is still readily available and we see a lot of it, that time will end and this will be referred to as the "good old days". If you tire of looking at quality knives then you must also be bored with Lamborghini, Porsche and Rolex. Even when these things are beyond our reach they are still reverred. Superior materials and workmanship are what creates Vintage heirlooms, and your work is just that.
Regards,
Steve

Thanks guys, i really appreciate your comments :)

Steve, you are right about the 'good old days', that goes for mammoth ivory, pearls, almost every exclusive natural stuff you can get today...
And when you mentioned Lamborghini, you stepped right on my toe :) Man, i used to drive two of them (gallardo and murcielago) when i was working as a courier, and there is nothing i can compare it to. just pure joy, you press the gas pedal, and instantly get the idiot smile on your face... those were the good old days. Nowadays, i drive them just from time to time, as a favor from my former boss, but they are still amazing :)

I think mammoth and damascus will fade out like strippers and alcohol, you know where to get 'em...but there's always a price to pay.

Oooh lambo driven ass, why don't you make me feel even better about my 96 dodge neon... Go on Ondrej, talk about the alfa's too... Lol, I used to valet at a casino, I got my hands dirty a couple times, 355's, vettes, porsches...

Thanks :)
Frankie, what about my Alfa? :) I call it Lambo for poor people:) It really has all the 'italiano' in it, but for a much more affordable price, and less dangerous (cause it top at only 140mph ;) )
Well, the valet must be a nice job, you get to drive quite a few of those cars, but i guess just around the block or so... I used to drive Lambos all around the Europe ;) Not to brag or anything, i was just lucky enough to land a job allowing me to giving hell to somebody else's car on regular basis :D

PS: more to the knife - from its batch, this was the one i was expecting the least from, finished it last, and i'm surprised to see this kind of comments. I'm glad you like it, really. Was a bit sceptic about it, seems i was wrong :)
