Nylund knives

Hello!

I tought I would show you our latest knife. It's made by my brother and it's a rather short knife, I think the handle is about 3,5 inch.

The blade is made out of damasteel. The pattern is called Sävsjö and is a custom made pattern, I won a bar in a knifemaking competition in Sweden. The pattern was designed only for that competition.

The handle is made out of mammoth bone, mammoth ivory and desert ironwood.

That is a very nice knife!! I have recently become interested in scandi's and have some sketches drawn up. I hope to make one soon.

Thanks for the nice comments!

I still have 16" left of that bar that I will make into blades, mabe I will send some of away to be precision grinded for coming folder projects.
