I got this beautiful antique pen knife from a good friend.

This pen knife is 2" long. Its scales are 10K gold. It is marked "English Steel" on the tangs of both blade. English Steel is a trademark of A. Feist & Co. (1864-1939) of Solingen, Germany. The scroll work on the handle (one side only) was done by hand. It has the date of "July 6" with 10K on the watch fob handle.

In the middle of the scroll work looks to be a monogram of 2 small f and a large B

English Steel without an English place name such as Sheffield often indicates a knife made in Germany or Austria-Hungry, mainly before 1891, for export to the United States _Blade's Guide to Knives & their Values

I am very happy
