Fossil Walrus fixed blade

I don't make a lot of fixed blades these days and definitely don't make many stick tangs anymore, but sometimes sometimes something grabs ya just right. I went to Jody's place a bit ago to make some damascus and I ended up buying this piece of fossil walrus off of him. Having the knifemaking ADD that I have, I immediately wanted to make something with it. :D I made a W-2 blade and milled the habaki out of solid copper. I used wrought iron from an old anchor chain for the guard and a hammered copper pin. The cutting edge is 2 1/4 and it is about 6 inches overall. I'm making a leather pocket sheath to go with it.

Thanks for checking it out! :)
