First off - Welcome to Knife Dogs - glad to have you here. - 2thumbs

And second you have to do what is comfortable to you?

What I mean is...... you can do almost any thing to a knife and it will work.
One of the MOST important parts is going to be the Fit & Finish of the knives.
This is why I call my email addy ---- crazyknifeblade -----

Crazy means trying to do the same thing over and over and get different results?
But you know what with a knife you CAN!
There are so many different blade shapes - handle shapes - materials.
The possibilities are endless...............:bud:
Make knives have fun, try new stuff? You never know? You may make the next big hot have to have blade?

But what most people are going to look at is EXECUTION how well did you do it?
They will look at the whole knife what you did?
So yes lines and flow all have a part here but you need to look at it?
And ask your self - does this look right to me? Do you like it? Than it is good. - ;):D
Who cares what others think? Your the maker......huh12thumbs
Go back and read my second line here.

Have fun make knives - you will get better and better and better. - 2thumbs

Show us what ya come up with?

Take care,

Todd

OH - I forgot to add.....
Your first knives there look pretty good, would like to see a better photo though?

And I'm not trying to give ya a hard time, knife making is hard enough as it is.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving holiday be safe.
