Ok, I know this aint a knife, but I thought that you might like to see some of my recient work.
The Wall Hanging is forged from 32" each of 3/4" one square and one round. The round stock has a 3/4" square hole in it and the square stock has a 3/4" round hole. Those machinists can't do that,, and since square stock is 20% larger than round,,,the square hole is actually larger than the round stock that it pierces.
The Toilet Paper Holder or Towel Rack is forged from about 16" of 1/2" square.
Now I gotta get out there and start making some knives for the blade show. The knife picture is of the type that I was selling at the Blade Show last year.
Half of a horse shoe. Mild steel with a horse head carved for the intrigal handle. Quinched in SuperQuinch and no temper drawn. I use one as my carry knife and actually have to sharpen it less often than my wife's Case Equine. Go figure.
