help with settings

Hey guys I am new to KD's, when I try to look at one of your posts i click on them and in about 5 seconds a dark tint goes over the screen, and I am not alowed to see attachments any clue to why?

The dark tint is a shading that is supposed to make the popup image look brighter and clearer. I don't know why you aren't seeing the images though.

If it takes that long for the shading to appear, perhaps your computer is just trying to process the image files and is going slowly. ? I get instant popups, so the 5 second lag on the tint seems long.
