Now Paul Long has crafted a sheath for it and I got to have my way with it under the studio lights. It's an inspired piece of work by Mike.

Exceptional looking dagger. I have been working on a large dagger for about a year off and on. Chad Nichols damascus and a fluted ivory handle. Hope to finish it this year, Just something I work on when I feel like it. Not for anyone just to keep.
This one is great and I appreciate getting to see it.

Now that is a looker for sure. The pics are outstading, as is the sheath. I managed to buy Mikes 'best hunter' at the
Boise show a couple years ago...........it is now under glass.

Knives like that blow me away.

It would be very easy to be disheartened to try make anything worthwhile when you see work like that but I try turn it into a positive to push myself along.

That is great work by three artists. :)
