A little chef/butcher knife i finished

Finally got this one done the other day, first knife i did in a couple weeks after i got laid up for a while. finally got feeling good enough to get back out and do some work

im not real sure what this shape/design would be called but it looks kind of like a chef knife with a curved handle to me. i thought it might work good for deboning deer meat this fall

any way it was a different shape then i had been making as of late

1095 diff heat treat, 1/8" thick, convex grind with secondary bevel
brass and black buffalo horn

Very nice looking kitchen knife- like the brass and horn - with the lanyard tube you better field test it on a deer-
 
It looks along the lines of what is referred too as a small Chef knife. From the picture it looks about 7" long blade? You would want to work on the edge of the cutting so you don't tap your knuckles.

Very nice work! Let us know how it tests out?
