Here is a chopper I made recently. Made from Aldo's W2 it is .350 thick along the spine and 16 inches in AOL. The blade is 9 1/2 inches to the plunges and 2 3/8 inches at it's widest point. Handles are black G10 with red liners. The blade is flat ground with a 2000 grit hand sanded finish and polished conves edge. The blade was double quenched in Parks 50, triple tempered, then the spine was drawn back by torch. The sheath was made from vegetable tanned leather .
