My first "Art Knife" by the Grace of God.

This is the first knife I ever made with "Art Knife" in mind, I think it qualifies.
The blade is Mike Norris stainless, Crazy Lace damascus. Nathan Dickenson did the engraving and 24 carat gold inlay. This is an interframe locking liner knife with a nail nick instead of a thumbstud. I milled out a pocket and installed a lock with two flathead machine screws on the inside of the knife so it works just like a locking liner knife. The blacklip pearl speaks for itself.
About 6 years ago when I first started making knives I told my good friend and fellow knifemaker Steve Jernigan that I would never attempt to make folding knives because they were just too complicated, well God had other plans for me and thats why I say I made this by the grace of God.

You could not have a better knifemaking friend than Steve. He is top notcfh.
The knife looks great and does look like an art knife for sure.
Thanks for showing it.

Yes Percy, they don't come any better than Steve. He is a good,Christian man,as kind, as he is wise. I'll be happy to be half as good as he is one day.
