100_0126.jpgI know I don't post often enough for anyone to know me, but I read whats new here most days and enjoy looking and learning what other makers are doing, so here is my latest. The blade is random pattern Damascus, fittings are of the same, handle is Elk. Blade is 5 1/2", overall length is 10 1/2". Thanks for looking....Dave

Hello,
I Like it!
And one of the reasons why is that it looks Classic! Yet you have incorporated your own feel into it!
For one, The spine notching continuing back into the Handle, very unusual.
Plus you dropped blade in the front!

Ed Fowler meets and works with Bob Loveless.
Keep going! Great Knife!

That really is a great looking knife Dave. I love the way the tang is exposed in the spine of the handle , that had to be a challenge.
Keep em coming

Hey.....Thanks for all the great feedback on this knife, it has always been a real challenge to design a knife that is not a copy of someone elses work. I have now made 4 knives with the fully file worked and exposed spine so far this year. This is the style and design I will be staying with since it has been so well received. Thanks again, Dave http://www.barrenrunforge.com/
