This is the very first knife i made to completion.
steel is EN9 hand forged with the fire scale left on, handle is stag antler with brass gaurd and pommel.
blade length is 5.6 inches
OAL is 9.5 inches

yeah i based it on a seax and elongated the blade needs a decent edge putting on it. im practicing with some cheapo blades before i touch this.
didnt think it was too bad for two days graft.
You're on your way! My advice to any new maker, 1) never give up on a knife project - make something useful out of it. 2) stop work when you feel good about what you're doing - never give up in disgust.
