Damascus Bowie with Ironwood

Ray

Dealer - Purveyor
Here's one I just sold. I'm posting it as much for the photograph as the knife. It just happened to be an overcast but bright day a few weeks ago. As I was walking out to my shop I looked down and saw the leaves and thought I'd try a shot with them as background. I think it worked pretty well considering the amount of work it takes to set up a good photo with artificial lighting - with usually no better results.

Description: Bowie Style with Ladder Pattern Damascus (416 layers) Overall length is slightly under 12 inches. The blade is 7 3/8 long X 1 1/2 inches wide. The blade is all tool steel (1084/15N20) Desert Ironwood handle material. German Silver fittings with red spacers. Vine file work on the back of the blade. The blade is edge-quenched. With tooled hand-stitched sheath by the maker. SOLD

Questions, comments, constructive criticisms welcomed. I'd rather have one good criticism than a hundred compliments.
