Well this project started as something simple to add to a batch for the heat treater then, I lost control.

Made from 1/4 440C, 3/4 inches wide, 6 inches long, blade length is 2 1/2 inches.

Those aren't drop point blades? How did you sculpt your handles?

Thanks All, I'll admit the blade does take on a drop point appearance, I guess that happened After rounding the spine of the blade but, I still think it has a tantoish flavor.

As far as the carving, I just bought a pencil die grinder and couldn't wait to try it. With a sharpie and a few carbide and diamond cutters I figured I'd take a shot at it. I figured the worst I could do would be to waist a bunch of time and texture the whole thing if it didn't work out. So it didn't work all that badly.

I would really like to be able to carve like that!!! Man those are out of this world. They are as much art as they are knives. Now when is it that you are giving carving lessons?
