New Redesigned Ca De Bou Recurve

John Barker

SUPERModerator & KNIFE MAKER
I have been working on redesigning my Ca de bou Recurve for a while. I wanted to make some changes in the handle design for better visual flow and so the user could really have something to hang on to if they needed to use a lot of force. So this is what I came up with. It was tough to get good pics to show off the scales. The blade is Elmax, .1870" thick at the ricasso with a 4.75" cutting edge and hand satin finish. The swedge is sharpened per the customer's request. The Rockwell hardness is 62. The scales are marroon linen micarta on a tapered tang. This one is headed to Nevada to a very patient man. Comments welcome.

Very nice clean and well executed knife Mr. Barker. You dont mind if I call you Mr. Barker do you?
I'd love to see the sheath you plan to put with it.

Excellent work- very nice lines and looks very handy. I like the recurve and really like the overall design of this and all your knives.
