The club is carved out of a piece of cherry. I cut the profile with the bandsaw, but all the shaping was done with a drawknife, rasp, and sandpaper. This spike was forged out of a bolt I found in an old railroad tressle piling. I got it a little too thin at the tip, though, so I think I'm going to redo it.
