Just finished this hawkbill in brown canvas micarta.

Looks stout and like the handle design- would lock into hand well, and blade design would make a good EDC, marine or horseman's knife. Like the star bolts, never seen like those before.
 
I got them when I bought a knife blank kit from Woodcraft. I used to just put handles on blanks and sell them. I just started making knifes from bar stock about 5 months ago.
I think they came from the small skinner model. You can see them on their website. The are 3/16 od with threaded female and matching screw. I did not use them on the blank build, I
used threaded ss standoffs and ss screws. I do not know were you can buy them separately. Sorry.
