I've still got a ways to go, but I thought I'd post a quick picture and see if y'all had any feedback or criticisms. The blade is forged out of Aldo's 1084, the ferrule is copper wire from an old extension cord, the tube is from an old hummingbird feeder, and the handle is box elder burl. Sorry for the crappy pic, but it's just a quick one I snapped this morning in my kitchen to give the recipient an update.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I got the knife finished over the weekend, but screwed up on the sheath and am going to have to wait until I get some more leather to finish. Here's some updated (and better) pics:

I had that thought, Randy. Unfortunately I'm completely out of decent leather right now (I had used the last of what I had in my first attempt). I've got a trade in the works for some on another forum, though, so I shouild have it done by the end of the week.
