The first knife has a york gum burl handle with camel bone and bronze. The 4 7/8" blade is 52 layers of 1080 and 15n20. The total length is 9 1/2".
The second knife has a red stag antler handle that has a raw hide wrap. The blade is 13 layers of 1080 and 15n20 and is 7 3/4" from tip to sinew. The total length is 14".
Thanks for taking the time to view.

The first one is nice but the second one wants to come home with me.
I definitely like your style and workmanship.

Eric

Wade, Those are both great looking knives. The york gum burl has an interesting pattern, where do you get it? Dan

Very nice Wade, love them both but I'm biased, the antler is SWEET!! You have a sore arm or a new press? That wiggley iron is awesome.......Randy

Thanks for the great replies.
Eric, I love the period style myself albeit my version.
Randy, Squish, squish and repeat if necessary.
Dan, I get the york gum burl and all of my Australian wood from Rob at Bad Dogs Burl Source - Home Page
www.burlsource.com/ he is a great guy and has some awesome burls and wood.
Cal, I am waiting to see your take on the gator bone. Hope it works for you.
Keith, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Wow, those are really nice Wade, the stag one is my favorite. Now you got me wanting to try a rawhide wrap.

Keith.

Professor NK, Glad you like it and thanks for commenting.
Keith, I look forward to seeing your rawhide maybe with a nice cable blade. Thanks for the reply.

Wade,
Love the damascus on both of them but I really like that burl handle on the first one. Great job as always!
