Knife designs for thicker steel?

I have a couple pieces of 1084 stock I want to use before I buy any more steel. They are all 1/4" thick. About 1 1/2" wide and length is about 7-11".

My question is, What kind of knife designs would suit this steel nicely?
(If you can post pictures of the style it would be great too!)

Thank you :)

The 11" piece might make a small camp knife, or a Bowie knife. On the Bowie you could go with a stick tang to gain some blade length, using antler or block of wood for the handle, you could do the same on the camp knife, but I like the added strength of the full tang on a knife that may be used to chop with.

This is a hunting knife with a stick tang, you could add a little more blade length, and use a full flat grind, and flatten the clip for a Bowie Style.
Just a couple of ideas.

The 11" piece(s) could make a nice field/camp knife, bowie or fighter. 7" is a little short for the 1/4" thickness, that would be more useful to someone with a forge, who could draw out a stick tang and forge the blade to shape to gain some length on it.

Thank you JDW. The last knife I made looks something like that except it was full flat grind and it was about 3-4" blade length.
