What's the best way to straighten out slightly bent steel stock?

Hi everyone

I was just about to start with my kitchen knife project, when I unwrapped my 2mm thick O1 steel stock & I discovered that it is not flat. If I hold the edge of a steel rule against the flat of the stock I can see that it curves away from the ruler in the centre (or the edges if turned over)

What is the best way to go about straightening it, before I mark and cut out my blade blank?
Gentle pressure on the back of the curved area, measure and repeat?? Or is there a better way?

It's pretty much an eyeball and feel operation any way you do it. With stock that thin I would probably just straighten by hand, and would expect to have to do some correcting after HT.
