I just wrapped up this one a few days ago. It is officially the 6th knife I've completed, and as such there area couple of firsts for me - first tapered tang, and my first u-shaped guard (unfortunately I couldn't get the pins to blend in 100%). Here are some of the stats:

Blade Material: CPM 154
Guard, Lanyard tube and Corby's: 410 SS
Overall Length 8 1/2"
Blade Length: 3 3/4"
Handle Materials: Green linen Micarta with red liners

Any comments and/or critique is always welcomed - please don't hold back.

Great knife for your 6 th, expect great things in the future, I used to use large pines as you have and had the same problem, try going to 1/16 " pins and use more of them, three will hold that guard . Deane

Great work and a great looking knife. One of these days I'll be able to fit a guard up that tight...

Ok, You said don't hold back, so here goes........

I LOVE IT!! Great fit and finish and excellent, sturdy design.
Only minor comment would be on the visibility of the bolster pins, this may bother some guys, not me.

Good Job,
Steve

I'm already 1/3 of the way into the next one! (I keep telling my wife I'm not addicted - she doesn't believe me...)
