here is a model that i haven't done in a while. this is the darkest acid etch i have done so far. it is almost like gun blue, if not for the etched figuring in the finish. one of my favorites so i got a little silly with the pics.

Very cool- with that kind of beef would be excellent chopper-fighter. Like what you did with scales and thong tube. Extra kudos for creative use of Egyptian miniatures, lion cord animal, sand, and small undetermined head thingy.
 
the totem looking miniature is an Anubis variation as well. it is the jackal head atop a sarcophagus. i can't believe i spelled that right the first time. i found those miniatures at a local hobby store. i couldn't resist buying them, even though i had no idea what they would be good for. i am a sucker for anything with an Egyptian slant. you can imagine i was a stargate dork for some time. anyway, thanks for the good words. i really strive to make a unique look but still keep all the function that a good knife should have.
