Camp knife with two-tone g-10, hamon...

Here's one I just got done for a show but ended up selling this past week. I clay quenched this one and etched it with vinegar similar to what Nick Wheeler describes.

Specs:
1080+ steel, clay quenched
11 1/2" overall, 6 3/4" blade, .180 at the ricasso
Ranger green g-10 scales with black g-10 bolsters, black g-10 pins
Tapered tang
Textured bolsters
Twisted rope thumb grip

Not that my pictures are ever all that great anyway, but I had a particularly hard time photographing this one. That photagraphy thing is an art all in itself. These are the best I could do for now.

Very nice! I know I comment on 'em a lot, but what catches my eye is not embellishments but the overall flow of lines. Yours does that nicely.

And you ain't kidding about the photography. I've talked with a few professionals, and their cameras cost as much as my power hammer!
