Li'l Ivory Hunter

I've had this small piece of Ivory laying around now for nearly two years and decided to make a dressy little hunter out of it.
I hope you can spy the chatoyance in this blade. It's something I've been working on, and it exceeded my hopes, that only first-hand observation can appreciate.
Stainless guard sets off 1095/15N20 blade.
Faceted spine gives it an added touch.

(I can see now I had some smears on that satin guard - too late.)

You must've built up one heck of a stash of handle materials. Seems you ALWAYS use the best stuff !

Is that walrus ? I'm loving the color variation

The spine's a classy touch IMHO.

I planned to stop by and say hey at blade but you always seemed to have folks hovering around the table.

Take care,

Josh

Thanks, Josh - sure wish you would have stopped by.
Next year.
Yes, it is Walrus.
I have found that if I don't spend any money on 2nd rate handle material, I just end up buying the good stuff!

Looks Awesome Karl! Was a pleasure meeting you at Blade. Your work is always top notch.
