What do you guys use to protect bead blasted blades?
Most of my blades are 5160,but after blasting they start to rust( yes,i know why).
I have been using Tuf-Cloth,Flitz but they don't always hold up.
Is there a "known" clear coat to use or wax,something...
Thanks,
Britt

Hi Britt,
Renaissance Wax works pretty well. It's used by museums and lots of knife makers too. You can Google it and read up to see what you think about it. I think Boss Dog carries it in his online store.

I like to use " boiled " linseed oil . I wipe it on and right back off. It will leave a thin coating , and also give a dull grey , non-glare looking finish.Scott
