(NEW PIX) Damascus and Flame Sheoak hunter

This is the second of the two damascus knives I've been working on.

1084 / 15N20 Random pattern damascus by Dan Seaver.
Hollow ground on a 10"wheel.
7 3/4" OAL 3 1/2" blade length from tip to plunge.
warm vinegar etch.
Australian flame or lace Sheoak from BurlSource. (this wood is awsome!! looks like it's on fire)
stainless pin and tubes
zig zag pattern file work

Yeah. I plan on getting better pics after work today. These were just some quick shots as it was getting dark. I really need to build a light box.

Here's a new group of pictures. much better light and wasn't rushed. I'm still in the process of doing the tung oil finish. This wood is thirsty! it soaks up the oil as fast as I can wipe it on. looking very good tho. there's some smudged on the ricasso that I couldnt get off. I'll try acetone once I'm all done cuz I'm sure I'll get more on there.

I was kind of worried that the scales might be a bit busy along with the Damascus but I think they look good together. The Damascus looks like wood grain and the handles look like fire lol
