Drawer is still full. This knife was out of a bucket of rusty/crustys I traded for at a Antiqued fair. No handle and no markings, probably an "Old Hickory". The blade shape reminded me of a " Cuchillos Criollos " or the knife of the Argentina Gaucho. This knife and sheath is a representation of a Gauchos blade that spent time with a Southern Plains Indian.
Knife 13 1/2" overall w/ 7 1/2" blade
Handle is Oak w/ rawhide wrap and poured pewter bolster and butt
Sheath leather from an old rifle scabbard and brain-tanned scraps
I rolled the tin cones by hand from some old house roof flashing and it has 8/0 and 10/0 beads
with a few larger beads via a antique necklace. This one has a back belt loop and a few danglers.
Finished with dirt, grease, homebrew dye and varnish
$110.00 shipped Palpal or USPSMO Thanks for looking ......Randy
