Time to clean out the drawer for this years projects. I can't forge in the winter(real job and short days) so this last winter I remodeled old knives and made period style sheaths for them instead of watching TV and turning the rest of my burned out brain to jelly.

Old Forgecraft Hi-Carbon Butcher
Knife is 13" overall w/ 8" blade
Added some tacks, rawhide "repair" wrap and linen cord wrap around bolster.
Aged blade and handle
Sheath is Crow/Blackfoot style with belt cutout(Belt goes over sheath and through cutout)
All leather is reused from a leather bag and a coat.
The cuff is braintanned scrap and the beading pattern from a photo
of a pipe bag.
Stitched with linen and some brass tacks
Sheath is 13" x 4 1/2" w/ 8" of fringe
Finished w/ homebrew dye, dirt, grease and varnish

SOLD Shipped PayPal or USPSMO Thanks.....Randy
