My most recent finished piece.

1095/15n20...tapered tang
Canaywood scales (my new favorite wood)
Maroon liners
Total lenghth...8 1/4"
Blade from scales....4"
Cutting edge...3 1/4"
Stainless Corbys and lanyard tube.

This piece was an embellishment from a pattern BillT sent me. Hollow ground on 12" wheel. Blade was cold blued before final finish with 2000 grit paper. I added a little more belly and length. The canarywood shows traces of red, green, yellow and almost a bronze color...gorgeous stuff. Thanks Bill.

(Apparently I missed the wax in the lanyard tube and spine)

Great lookin skinner.. I like The look of that wood and have almost purchased some.. I am interested to get your take on the wood as a knife scale..

God Bless

Nice deep belly on that blade. I see a little taper in the tang. That is a nice touch. That wood really brings the whole knife together. Nice work!!
