Small Fighter in 5160 for my Dad

Hollow ground on 10" wheel
Hand rubbed 320 scratch finish
Green Canvas Micarta and lovelace bolts from USA Knifemakers Supply

I will be making the sheath tonite (black kydex), and this one is going to my dad. It is the second knife I have made specifically for him, but he wants to pay me for this one. :cool:

I am always open to opinions and critiques. As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

I really liked using these lovelace bolts from Tracy. I just need to spend the money on the right counterbore/countersink to get the holes just right. I have to "work" the holes a bit to get them to sit correctly, then had to fill a tiny gap around each bolt...
 
If you like the Loveless style bolts, try the corby's. They're even better in my opinion.
 
I always sorta questioned the corby's because they have such a small shoulder on them. I supposed with the right counterbore, it wouldnt be an issue...

I finished the sheath last night... I am getting more comfortable with each one that I make, and I like this one a lot.
