Hi All, The story behind this piece is, My wife and I built our house 3 years ago. Our electrician is a friend of my wifes and wouldn't take a payment for his work so, we agreed on a trade a services. He said make me a big Ole' bowie and left it at that. So hey, cool, seems I get to do anything I want. I decided to do some things I don't normally get to do.

Specs;
Blade; 11 1/4 inches, flat ground, hand rubbed satin finished 440C
with file worked spine and false edge clip point.

Handle; stabilized figured walnut with nickel silver pique work.
(large pins are .0625, small pins are .0225.)

Fittings; Hot blued O-1

Sheath; 8/9 oz wet molded leather wrapped with brown ray skin
with a nickel silver tip and throat.

OAL; 16 3/4 inches

Pardon the pun. That is some darn lucky electrician. I wish I could pay for more stuff with knives. Life will be so much more enjoyable. Great work! I just love that sheath.
