D9 tool steel?

Yep, it's not a typo. I got some prybars and things from countycomm.com, which they say are made from D-9 tool steel. I can't seem to find anything about this steel easily online, however.

Does anyone have any info/datasheets about this steel, in regards to its composition and HT info?

Thanks!

David

Yes thats what I mean , little cloudy this morning . I cant find D-9 in any steel charts but, that does not mean that its not made . It just means I have never heard of it . could be something new . If its even close to D-7 it is extremly hard to grind and darn near impossible to handforge. many belts....http://zknives.com/knives/steels/steelchart.php Maybe someone with more steel knowledge could chime in .
