I'm not sure if I overlooked it, but you may want to add Kelly Cupples.
No website that I know of, but he's located in Yamika, WA, and can be reached at his email: octihunter@charter.net

Kelly is very well respected in knife making community, and offers a variety of steels, steel powders, quenching oils, and a few other things, IIRC.

Also, how about a category for quenching oil? Maxim Oil is a great resource for various quenchants (including Parks 50).

Finally, I would also recommend SuperGrit.com for an abrasives source. Great prices, great service (in my experience) and a very decent selection.

Just some ideas.

Definitely a great, and very useful list!

Didn't see this until now. This is a really good list! A few places to add- not 100% knife-making related but, good to know and at least browse through for everything from anvils to old-time trimmings:

Dixie Gun Works- http://www.dixiegunworks.com/default.php

Pieh Tool Company- http://piehtoolco.com/

Centaur Forge -http://www.centaurforge.com/

Cliff Carroll Horseshoer's Supply- http://cliffcarroll.com/
- Yeah I know Horseshoer, but he has some REALLY GOOD light and medium anvils.

here is an excellent source for hardwoods. they have everything from 1"x1"x12" pen blanks to 4'x16'x4" live edge slabs. If you live in central North Carolina or southern Virginia, would be worth the drive. the "showroom" is about 7500 sq.ft. and you can walk around like I did, a kid in a candy store. I walked out with 20 board feet of black walnut and 15 board feet of figured ambrosia maple for less than $80. all their wood is kiln dried with the exception of live edge slabs and turning blanks.

don't shoot me for saying this, but i am not sure it should become a sticky. The company's should contribute to the forum to get that kind of publicity, sorry just my two cents. it is a great list to have and i have pasted it into my files. thanks for sharing.
