Bryan Baker.
Spent ten years grinding knives for a knife company called Chris Reeve. You may have heard of that company. :-0
Bryan has not only made his living grinding and sharpening knives at one of the most prestigious knife company's in America but now he has gone out on his own.
Using all the knowledge and talent that he has honed on a daily basis with Chris Reeve Knives and brought it to his growing client base.
Pleased as punch to ask him to make me a traditional Loveless style Chute Knife.
True 1/4 inch stock,red spacers,green micarta slabs,tapered tang.
Dovetail bolsters hold onto a 9.25 inch knife with a 4.5 inch blade honed to a razors edge four inches before a v notch choil.
He used CPM- S30V steel and can you believe this... the flats on this custom knife he has finished with a mirror polish!

Not too many knife makers try yet succeed in mirror polishing S30V!!
This knife is flawless in my eyes and I can't wait until I can afford to order a different style from Bryan Baker of Boise Idaho.
