sharp after the chop abuse test, and then
install the blade, and it's done! Waiting for the wife to make a sheath for it.

Here I am bending the guard. I made from the top of a stainless spoon.
I buy spoons at thrift\goodwill stores for this use. I can forge them
but if I find a spoon\fork with an engraving I like I keep it that way.
Makes a one of a kind knife with added character.

Here I am normalizing the blade for the first time. I did not
video the other two times I normalized to magnetic north.

Cody, I watched several of these. I enjoyed the heck out of them. I kept thinking this is a Tai Goo/Tim Lively guy and sure enough at the end of one of the videos you give each a nod. Keep going like you are and you will be a knife rock star in the neo tribal world...

Thank you very much. I sure wished Tim could see my video's. I wished this so much since he lives but an hour away from me. I want him to see his legacy lives in others to doing things the hardest way possible, and having spite against using machines as I do, and other neo tribal metal smiths.

I sold this knife this morning. Someone from Cibilo texas drove 2 1/2 hours to buy this from me.

This knife originally had hammer marks. I got a customer interest ready to buy it but they wanted the hammer marks smoothed out. I didnt want to sand them off. I should have told the customer it's too late or something similar, but I went ahead and did it for them, and what do you know. They backed out on buying. I think it was someone from the forum I live on most doing it to be mean knowing I dont like using the machines unless I have to. In basic if doing it by hand costs me more than using a machine and I dont got money then I am forced to use the machines. Being a c++ programmer and electronics graduate I have this weird hatred against using machines for my primitive knife making.

Forgive my long post. I have an OCD.
Making knifes calms my millions of thoughts down into a single focus! I cant explain it to anyone, it just turns my crank.
