This is my first posting to this forum. Thought I would share the last two knives of the year. Both are 1095 and 15N20, the mokume is 40 layer copper and nickle silver. Both knives are differentialy heat treated. I forge my own damascus and mokume. I make the sheaths uzing 10 oz leather and hand stitched.

The ebony and nickle silver drop point is 235 layer damascus. The differential heat treatment line jumps out on this one after buffing. Filled the spine over the filework to make the back smooth. K22 and24 attachments.

The cocobolo and mokume drop point is 260 layer ladder pattern that gives a great black and silver ladder stripe in the sun. I always love the optical illusion you get off true ladder damascus. CL attachment

Hope you enjoy them as much as I liked making them. Comments welcome.
