This is my first ever folder,It has a few flaws that I am not happy
with, but for a first I think it turned out ok.
I will say Thanks to Steve Janik, for all his help.I probably called him
3 or 4 times a week, sometimes more, asking questions.I still have to heattreat the blade, and finish sanding and this one should be through
but it will not be the last.I have already started my next one.

OAL: 7 1/2''
The spine is Buffalo horn.
Titanium liners
Scales are Brazilian Rosewood,Given to me by Steven Janik.
Blade is 1095,from Aldo

The pic are not that good, but let me know what you think.

God bless,Keith

Keith,
I think that you posted the wrong photos. The description sounds right but I don’t see anything wrong with it. Looks better than my kit folder.

If it bothers you too much I’ll send you my address so you don’t have to look at it:biggrin:

Thanks Delta,I guess I'm just hoping the next one will turn
out a little better. It was definitely a learning experience.

God bless,Keith

Keith,
That looks GREAT.
Viewers, Keep in mind that Keith cut all these parts by hand from sheet stock, drilled and tapped the Ti and cut the lock bar without a pattern.

Keep up the good work.

I think you have a fine knife there sir.
We tend to be hard on ourselves as makers, I never think my work is up to snuff.

Kieth, That thing is hideous.....You better send it to me asap to dispose of properly..................:)

Just kidding Bro, I really like it. Turned out awesome!!

I think it is beautiful!

That wood has so much character,I would carry that in my pocket anyday!!

Very well done!

Peace.

Keith, that is a stellar way to start the New Year!!!
I am going on record as being the first to claim a spot on what is going to be a long list of folks wanting one of your folders!!!
Come spring time I'll be putting in an order!

Well done Keith, that looks awesome for a first. I agree with Ironwolf they are going to queue up for them.

Thanks for the kind words from all,it is certainly encouraging.
Hey Wolf, you got it my friend.

God bless,Keith

Good work my friend. I like the fact that it's different from your other work I've seen and the sweet little skinner you made me, but shows the same elegance and attention to detail. Each piece keeps getting even better, that's the name of the game!

It's a great piece and since it's your first I expect you will have all of us viewers hanging on to see the next ! Frank

Thanks Frank,I hope the next one does not take as long.

Thanks Bennie. As you probably already know, just take your time.
You will do great.

God bless,Keith
